The Office of Student Affairs under the banner of Hindustan Academy for Competitive Exams (HACE) organised a talk on "Tips to Clear UPSC Exams" by Mr. Prasanth IFOS, Wildlife Warden, Chennaion 27 July 2022 He had obtained an All-India 16th rank in the Indian Forest Service Exam conducted by the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) in 2018.

A movie making process involves a lot of technical skills from script writing to theatre release. The responsibility lies in the hands of a filmmaker who should use these elements to narrate a story to the audience in a creative way. The Department of Visual Communication, HITS organised an interactive session with the film crew of Mayathirai, an upcoming Tamil movie on 20 July 2022. Ogma Note, the wing from The Athena Literary Club responsible for all kinds of exciting literary activities, organizedan event called WTF (words to forward). It was held on the 20th of July 2022 in the Language Lab of the PG block.
Participants were randomly allocated into teams of two. There were six teams in total, from various departments. They were given the freedom to choose they scenario they wanted to base their text conversation on.

The department of Food Technology conducted a Vegetable,Fruit and Ice Carving Workshop on 20 July 2022. Chief Trainer Dr Chef Vinoth Kumar led the sessions aiding the participants to enhance their skill in food and ice carving, a mesmerizing art that adds life to one's culinary skills. For the students of Food Technology it is mandatory chores for the students who are in third year of Graduation to visit a milk processing unit and explore Milk and dairy processing. Along with 2 faculty, Dr. T. Sivapriya and Dr. A. Samuel, 34 students of 3rd year arrived in Aavin, Sholinganallur at 10.00 am.
