HITS establishes the Center of Excellence for eHardware Innovative Test-Technology Systems (eHITS) in collaboration with Qmax Test Equipment's Pvt. Ltd (QMAX)
The Letter of Agreement (LoA) signing ceremony was held on the 15th of June 2023 and the event was coordinated by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Chancellor; Mr. Ashok Verghese, Pro Chancellor; and Dr. S. N. Sridhara, Vice Chancellor from HITS and Mr. S. R. Sabapathi (Founder and CEO – QMAX) along with the QMAX team participated in the ceremony. Dr. N. Manoharan, Director Projects, Hindustan Group of Institutions welcomed the delegates and presented the objectives, business plan and the future scope of the eHITS. The objective of eHITS is to provide a higher-end technical service to national and international organizations, MSMEs and industry partners in the field of Electronics Hardware Test Engineering.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Vijayakumar, Assistant Vice President, QMAX. Research faculties from HITS and the team QMAX interacted on various aspects of eHITS. Later on the day, the Chancellor, Pro Chancellor and Director Projects visited the QMAX facility and discussed various possibilities to develop Industry-Academia collaboration in the areas of electronics and Battery Management System.
