An memorandum of understanding has been signed between HITS and Government of Uganda in the fields of education, training, research, consultancy, e-governance and digital transformation on 5 March 2022. This partnership will create a platform for the Government of Uganda to utilize the services and expertise of HITS and vice versa on any project, education, training, research, consultancy, e-governance and digital transformation initiatives with a strong focus on empowering citizens of Uganda. The MoU was signed by the Ambassador of Uganda to India, H.E. Dr. Grace Akello, and the Pro Chancellor of Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science, Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese.
