- The Department of Visual Communication, SLAAS organized a workshop on Sound Design. The Resource person for the event was Mr. Lawrence Vishnu. He has more than 20+ years of experience as a Sound engineer and worked in many projects in Digital Atmos Sound Mixing. He was the Re-recording Mixer for the Oscar-winning Documentary Short Film, The Elephant Whisperers.
- Mr. Lawrence shared information on microphones, live recording, Audio Post production works, Dolby Atmos surround System for theatrical and OTT Production. He also mentioned about latest software and AI tools in music Industry. He also shared his work experience with artist Mr. Surya in the movie 24 (2016) and the Documentary Short Film, The Elephant Whisperers. He demonstrated the protools software and showed students working files of various films projects
