Back2Hindustan 19

The HITS Annual Alumni Meet 2019, ‘Back2Hindustan’ was celebrated on 7 December 2019gathering over 200 alumni. Dr. Pon. Ramalingam, Registrar, in his welcome address expressed his pleasure of meeting the alumni on an occasion such as ‘Back2Hindustan.’ In his key note address, Dr. E. Bhaskaran, President, HITSAA provided an insight on the activities of HITSAA (HITS Alumni Association)towards HITS Alumni since its establishment. The prominent HITS alumni were recognized for their valuable contributions and were presented with awards. Also, the HITSAA Awards sponsored by batch of 1992 & 1994 were presented to deserving students and faculty. The senior alumni introduced themselves and shared their success stories with the audience. Dr. Ravikumar Solomon, HOD, Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks. ‘Back2Hindustan’also had performances by Hindustan Band & Dance Team anda standup comedy act by Mr. Madurai Ramakrishnan.
