A social fundraising event “GLITZ 2021” was held on 17 October 2021, Sunday at Montfort Auditorium, St. Thomas Mount Chennai. A band representing Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) was officially invited by the Rotaract Club President, Mr. Vishnu VardhanV., (Chennai Zone) to give a host performance. HITS’ Poorvang bandcomprising Mr. Simeon Rohit Adams, II B.Tech. ITon the Keys; Mr. SrikeathT., II B.Tech. Aeronautical Engg. on the Cajon; Mr. Prathik Alex Matthai, II B.Tech. IT on the Electric Guitar; Ms. Stuti Goyal, II B.Tech. Aerospace Engg. on Female Lead Vocals; and Mr. Chandan Parida, II BCA on the Male Lead Vocals participated. Poorvang gave a stellar performance on stage with a Mashup of three Hindi songs, ‘Kaun Tujhe’, ‘Kuch Toh Hai’and ‘Kabhi Tumhe’ along with a popularTamil song ‘Munbe Vaa’.The performance was supported by Mr. Santhosh, Music Instructor, HITS; and Mr. Royson, Cultural Coordinator, HITS.
