Electronic Communication In Diverse Fields

The department of Electronics and Communication Engineeringconducted a Seminar on“Electronic Communication in Diverse Fields” on 27August 2021.The seminarreceived an overwhelming response with the students and faculty members counting to over 100 participants.Dr.S. Prabha,Associate Professor, ECE welcomed the chief guest Ms.Kerlin Grace Preethi, Operation Analyst, Kapitus. Ms.Kerlin’s lecture briefly described the application-oriented view of electronic communication to create awareness of the current advances in that area which finds applications in many fields. The lecture was beneficial to the third-yearstudents as they undergo mini project this semester. Since this is an interdisciplinary area that finds application in almost all engineering fields, the students were exposed to real time applications which would in fact enable them understand the various possibilities where they can implement the concepts and techniques studied in the classroom and convert them to solutions for many real-world problems.
