Ovation 2019, an annual conference of District 82 – Toastmasters International was held from 23 to 26 May 2019 at Chennai Trade Center. The conference witnessed 4 speech contests and an array of interesting educational workshops presented by industry leaders from across the world. Mr. Darren LaCroix, World Champion of Public Speaking – 2001 and Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Qahtani World Champion of Public Speaking – 2015 graced the occasion and delivered keynote address.
Hindustan Toastmasters Club was awarded with “Silver Eagle” and “Phoenix” Award at Ovation 2019 for achieving 120 Club Quality Points. The award was presented by the District Trio – TM Sarmaa Mahalingam, Program Quality Director, DTM Noorul Munawwara, Club Growth Director and DTM Suganthi Periasamy, District Director.
