A motivational talk on “Involvement of Women in Motorsports” & “Recruitment Campaign for National Championship”, (F1300- Women’s Category) was conducted on 15 March 2019. India’s First Women Racer, Ms. Alisha Abdullah, Founder, Alisha Racing Academy, Chennai was the resource person of the event. In her address on “Involvement of Women in Motorsports and its Opportunity”, Alisha briefed the function of what her Racing Academy & HITS do for the betterment of students, especially women. Her talk emphasized how keen she is on preparing students as promising Racers. Mr. Sarath and Mr. Rahul, ECU Tuning Engineers, Alisha Racing Academy shared experience on the opportunities available in Motorsports. As an outcome of the programme, 21 students enrolled themselves for the selection process of National Championship (F1300- Women’s Category) & ECU Tuning course.
