Razzle Dazzle 9.0

HITS campus was abuzz as the entire fraternity came together to witness the spectacular display of style and creativity at Razzle Dazzle 9.0 held on 4 August 2023. The event aimed at displaying the creativity and innovation of the graduating students of B. Sc. Fashion Design and B. Des. Fashion and Apparel Design. The chief guest and show stopper for the evening was Ms. Akshara Reddy, the International Beauty Pageant Winner and Bigg boss Tamil Season 5 Contestant.

Ms. Akshara, in her speech, thanked the Management, staff and students for the invitation extended to her. She pointed out that the entire show was thoroughly professional display of talents. The show stopper also congratulated the budding designers and pointed out that their designs were creative in nature. Moreover, Ms. Akshara said that today’s youth should ensure to learn a minimum of two skills in a year. This will help them to become professionals in ten to fifteen years.

The runway of Razzle Dazzle 9.0 witnessed an array of professional models confidently strutting the designer wears of the budding fashion designers. Ms. Akshara Reddy, based on various judging criteria, selected the winners and runners-up who received certificates, trophies, and cash prize. The winners received a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- whereas the runners-up received Rs. 25,000/-

The event commenced with the welcome address delivered by Dr. Marceline Pushpa, Head, School of Liberal Arts. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Sasirekha, Assistant Professor, Department of Fashion Design and Arts. The fashion show was curated by Ms. Jules Verghese, Department of FDA.
