Annual Alumni Fest and Sport-X

The Fest was attended by a total of 200 alumni members. The event hosted the Sport-X that conducted games like Box Cricket, Volleyball, and Table Tennis for the alumni. In addition to this, the Alumni Excellence Award was also held on the day. The Alumni members, through various sponsorship, contributed to the welfare of their alma mater.
Dr. R. W. Alexander Jesudasan, Pro Vice Chancellor addressed the gathering and welcomed the alumni members and emphasized the importance and significance of the alumni for an institution. Dr. S. N. Sridhara, Vice Chancellor in his presidential address, congratulated all the alumni excellence awardees and welcomed the alumni to the annual alumni fest. He mentioned the ways in which the alumni can contribute for the welfare and development of the institution through their expertise. He also urged the alumni members to collaborate with HITS for mentorship, industry visits and establishing center of excellence.
Dr. Ravikumar Solomon, Prof. i/c - Alumni Office briefed the gathering on HITSAA activities for the academic year 2022 – 2023 which includes the events of all the chapters and the Alumni office events like Alumni Talk Series, Gyan Disha, Sport-X, Reunions etc were showcased. He also briefed the audience on the latest achievements and accolades of the University. Following this, the audience were entertained and enthralled by the cultural performance staged by the students.
