Flood relief support

HITS brings hope to the hearts submerged in despair!

Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science contributed generously by helping those affected by the recent flood in Chennai on 8 December 2023. Making a difference through compassion, the NSS and NCC Cells of HITS in collaboration with KCG Fashion Bank, took a step towards aiding the people residing in flood-affected areas in and around Pallikaranai. The team distributed pre-used clothes.

The NSS Cell of HITS, in collaboration with Y's Men's Club of Chennai OMR and Y's Men's Club of Hindustan Youth on December 9 2023 distributed relief materials at Pallikaranai for those in need. They distributed essential relief materials, such as food supplies, clothing, and other necessities.

This collective effort aimed to provide comfort and support to the resilient community of Pallikaranai during this challenging time. With the invaluable contributions from KCG Fashion Bank and the dedication of the volunteers, the team was able to reach out and offer essential clothing items to those in need. Witnessing the smiles and gratitude of the recipients reaffirmed the belief in the power of kindness and solidarity.
