A state level cultural festival "PRAYAAS 2022" was conducted by the Department of Commerce and Research of DB Jain College Chennai on 8 April 2022. Band POORVANG representing Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science bagged prizes in the Solo Singing and Group Singing category. The band gave a stellar performance on stage with a classical mashup of “Singaravelane velane” and “Kannodu kanbadhellam” for the solo, and a trendy mashup of famed Tamil numbers “Vassegara”, “Maiya maiya”, “Kadhalaraondru” for the group and gained instantaneous popularity. Hindustan wishes the team the best in all endeavours!
