PLACEMENT SUCCESS DAY 2018

Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science, Padur,Chennai celebrated SUCCESS DAY ON 17TH May 2018. It’s a Unique Event to appreciate 916 students of final year who got placed , aspiring for Defence Services, pursuing Higher Studies , opting for Entrepreneurship and Joining family business. Infosys, IBM, Amazon , Vestas, Ramco Systems, Accenture, Mckinsey, IDBI Federal, Data Patterns, Zoho, Servion, TATA AIG, SANMAR, HSBC, Saint Gobain to name a few are the Organisations that visited the Campus. Amazon Development Center India offered the highest CTC of Rs.26 Lakhs per annum. In spite of recessionary trends in hiring of fresh talents from campuses due to Automation and other Technological Disruptions in Industry, the percentage and no.of placements surpassed previous years in Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science.

Chief Guest Dr.V.Balasubramaniyan , Director, Safety Research Institute, Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Govt. of India addressed the 916 Successful students of final years and awarded the certificates. He awarded and appreciated Mr.Abhishek Jaishwal who got the highest CTC of Rs.26 Lakhs per annum in the Campus Placement by Amazon.The Chief Guest emphasized the need for upgrading the skills and Technical Knowledge and also guided to practice professional ethics and concern for Environment in all their endeavours.

Earlier Dr.Pon Ramalingam, Registrar welcomed the Chief Guest and gathering. Dr.K.P.Isaac, Vice Chancellor , in his Presidential Address requested the students to bring laurels to their alma mater and announced Scholarships for students who join M.Tech and Ph.D Programmes in Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science. Mr.B.T.Maran, Head Placement proposed a vote of thanks after presenting the Success Day Report.
