The University Day of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science celebrating the key achievements of the academic year 2021-22 was observed on 29 April 2022. Dr. G.A. Ramadass, Director, National Institute of Ocean Technology, Government of India, was the Chief Guest. The Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. R. W. Alexander Jesudasan welcomed the gathering. The Vice Chancellor, Dr. S. N. Sridhara presented the Annual Report briefing various achievements of HITS including, Launchingof M.Tech. Defence Technology, CODE (Centre for Open & Digital Education), KCG Verghese Sat, Collaboration with Royal Enfield Training Centre and King Sejong Institute, Scholarships for students, Funding for ATAL Tunnel Visit, Sports, NSS, NCC, Culturals etc.As many as 372 studentsand 68 staff members were honoured by the Chief Guest for the remarkable achievements in academics, research, co-curricular,extracurricular, and administration activities.
