A Guest Lecture on “Optical Switches for Telecommunication Switching Networks” was organized by the department of ECE for the third year UG students on 31 January 2020. Ms. Binu Jiju, Project Lead Engineer, SFO Technologies, Cochin briefed the basics of optical switches, its types and needs in the field of Telecommunication Switching Network. In an interactive session with Ms. Binu, students were urged to take up innovative projects in association with Industry/company.
