The Office of Student Affairs under the banner of Hindustan Academy for Competitive Exams (HACE) organised a talk on "Tips to Clear UPSC Exams" by Mr. Prasanth IFOS, Wildlife Warden, Chennaion 27 July 2022 He had obtained an All-India 16th rank in the Indian Forest Service Exam conducted by the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) in 2018.
In his talk, Mr. Prasanth exhorted the students to read newspapers and competitive magazines every day and prepare notes on their own. He said that continuous preparation for one or two years can surely help the students to get through competitive exams especially UPSC and state public service commission exams. He also added that in order to gain holistic knowledge about administration, one has to read vastly and do analysis. Mr. Prasanth said that without logic and reasoning, one cannot function as an efficient administrative officer. He stated that analysing historical, geographical, cultural and other reasons one can find answers for many questions in UPSC.
