Dr. K. C. G. Verghese Memorial Trophy - 28Th State Level Inter College Basketball Tournament
The School of Physical Education & Sports organized Dr. K.C.G. Verghese Memorial 28 th State Level Inter College Basketball Tournament for Men & Women from 6 to 9 April 2019. The tournament was inaugurated by Dr. Pon Ramalingam, Registrar, HITS. Mr. Aravind Annadurai, International Basketball Player and Ms. M. Adhirai, International Basketball Player presided over the Valedictory Function as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour. SRM Institute of Technology and Science and Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science bagged the Championship under Men and Women category respectively. Dr. K.P. Isaac, Vice Chancellor, HITS graced the occasion as Special Guest and honoured the winners with Trophy, Cash Prize, and Certificates of Merit.
