On 5th September 2023, Teacher's Day was joyously celebrated at Panchayat Union Primary School in Thirupporur by the NSS (National Service Scheme) cell of HITS. The event was a tribute to the dedicated educators who shape young minds. Ms. Beena James, Head i/c of Student Affairs, and Ms. Ranjana, a respected Professor in MCA, graced the occasion and presented thoughtful gifts to the esteemed school teachers.
In the spirit of promoting creativity and awareness, a drawing competition was organized in the focusing on the theme "Swachh" (cleanliness). Prizes were distributed to the talented young participants who showcased their artistic skills and dedication to the cause of cleanliness. More than 20 enthusiastic NSS volunteers actively took part in organizing and managing this memorable event, demonstrating their commitment to community service and education. It was a heartwarming celebration that highlighted the importance of both teachers and student involvement in shaping a brighter future.
