Team Hindustan member, Mr. Rithwik Vijay Shekar,4th year, B.Tech. Automobile Engineering won the overall winner trophy in the Alisha Inter College Star Race 2018 held at Madras Motor Race Track held from 13th to 16th December 2018 at Irungattukottai, Chennai.

ALISHA INTER COLLEGE STAR RACE 2018
Alisha Abdullah Inter College Star Race is a Formula 1300 category series college student racing championship conducted by Alisha Abdullah Racing Academy in association with MMSC & FMSCI in MMRT.As the first female racer of India, Aisha Abdullah creates more opportunities for the younger generation to take part in Motorsports. The racing championship being the first time opened for college levels, permitted only 10 teams to participate. The star race saw students of various colleges competing against each other to bag the championship at the end of the season. Team Hindustan Racing, a passionate undergraduate students team hailing from HITS showcased an extraordinary racing spirit in all rounds getting “Fastest Lap for the Season” and “Overall Championship” to its credit.
