Mechatronics Engineering, added a feather to their alma mater’s cap bagging “Design Excellence Award” in the International VEX Robotics Competition, organized by the Mechatronics and Robotics Society of Philippines (MRSP) in association with the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) at Manila, Philippines on 26 and 27 of September 2019. Prof. Dr. Ricardo P. Pama, Secretary General of AUAP; Mr. Philip Marvin D. Joven, Chairman, MRSP; and Mr. Andy Lee, President, Innovation First International, VEX Robot honoured HITS Team with the award. Dr. R. M. Kuppan Chetty, Associate Professor and Mr. G. Deenadayalan, Assistant Professor, Centre for Automation and Robotics (ANRO) share the pride of mentoring the team for their innovative design approach of robots and autonomous navigation capabilities.
