Webinar On Business Of Fashion

A webinar on “Business of Fashion” organized by Department of Fashion, Design & Arts, School of Management & Dept of Visual Communication was conducted on 18 September 2020. Ms. Varija Bajaj, Fashion Designer & Entrepreneur was the resource person. She is a member of FDCI (Fashion Design Council of India) and has been a part of India Fashion Week for several seasons. Ms. Varija Bajaj currently has 3 Apparel Brands-OFFICE & YOU focusing on Workwear for an Indian women; LELA & VARIJA DESIGN STUDIO focusing on Bridal wear. The webinar laid focus on brand management, and ways to venture into entrepreneurship in Fashion field. Ms. Varija also shared her journey of starting the brands and managing multiple product brands. The session was attended by 72 students representing B.Sc. Fashion Design, B.Des. Fashion Design & Apparel Design & other departments under School of Liberal Arts &Applied Sciences.
