Industrial Visit To Ashwin Thyagarajan Boutique, Chennai By The Fashion Designers
The final year students of B.Des. Fashion and Apparel Design visited Ashwin Thyagarajan Boutique, Chennai on 24 August 2022. The objective of this visit was to help students to understand the high fashion business model.Theygot a clear picture of luxury branding is and were also able to differentiate between mass production and high fashion industries. The students interacted with the designer who answered their questions politely. They also had an opportunity to understand the finer nuances of developing a luxury brand. They were elated to touch and feel the high fashion garments for display.This helped them to find the differences in fit and finish of regular and haute couture fashion. The visit to the boutique provided the students the hope to achieve their entrepreneurial dreams and goals.
