SOUTH ZONE INTER UNIVERSITY TABLE TENNISMEN’S TOURNAMENT
HITS hosted the South Zone Inter University Table Tennis Men’s Tournament between 19 and 23 December 2019. A total of 62 teams took part in the tournament and played on Knock out cum League basis.
RESULTS
Winners : Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana
Runners : SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Third Place : University Of Madras, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Fourth Place : Karnatak University, Dharwad, Karnataka
While Mrs.Mamta Rani Agarwal, Additional Secretary, Association Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhiand Mr. Abhishek, Former International Table Tennis Player was the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour for the inaugural function, Mr.R.Rajesh, Current Indian Team Coach and Former International Table Tennis Player presided the valedictory function as the Chief Guest and gave away the prizes to the achievers. Dr. Ashok G. Verghese, Director, HITS also presided over the function and congratulated the winners.
