STALWARTZ RACING,

one of the flagship teams in Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, is a team of passionate undergraduate students pursing various branches of Engineering. The team competed in SAEINDIA mBAJA 2020 organized at Chithkara University, Chandigarh, Punjab between 5 & 9 March 2020 and secured an overall 4th Position in India & 1st Position in Tamil Nadu among 82 teams.

ABOUT BAJA SAE & BAJA SAEINDIA

The BAJA SAE Series, an event for the undergraduate engineering students, is organized globally by the Society of Automotive Engineers, USA. The event was originated in the name of Mini-BAJA, in the year 1976 at University of Carolina. Since then, the event has spread its wings to several countries like USA, Mexico, South Africa, Korea, Brazil and India. BAJA SAEINDIA tasks the students to conceptualize design, build, test & validate a single-seater four wheeled All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) to take part in series of events spread across a course of 3 days that test the vehicle for the sound engineering practices that have gone into it, the agility of the vehicle in terms of grade ability, acceleration, suspension, traction, and manoeuvrability characteristics and finally, its ability to endure that back breaking durability test.
