Department of Mechanical Engineering organised 5 days Skill Enhancement Training on Solid Works for the benefit of Lab Instructors from 21st - 25th March 2022. It was the first offline event from Department of Mechanical Engineeringfor the lab instructors.Mr. A. Sivasankar, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering welcomed the gathering. Dr. P. Vijayabalan, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering introduced the speakers during inauguration and gave brief introduction to Solid Works and its applications. Dr. N. Prakash, Dr. C. Prasad from Department of Automobile Engineering andMr.R. Sathishbabu, Mr. A. Sivasankar from Mechanical Engineering were the resource persons. The training focused on various modules related with 3D modelling.
Finally, Dr. PonRamalingam, Registrar, HITS, felicitates the valedictory function and distributed the certificates to the participants. Over 30+ participants were benefitted from this training.
