Faculty Development Programme on “Bridging Garment Industry and Academic Gap” was organized by the Department of Fashion Design and Arts on 14 th and 15 th December 2018. As a national event, it drew participants from different Fashion / Garment / Textile related Academic Institutions and Organizations together. Mr. Yuvaraj KS, Manager Merchandising, Tres Mercari Pvt. Ltd. Coimbatore was the resource person of this two-day session. Mr. Yuvaraj explained the Current Scenario in Apparel Industry and the Gap analysis between Academics and Industry Demands. He also shared his hands on experiences with the participants.
