Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science hosted the South Zone Inter University Basketball MenTournament under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. 89 universities from southern part of India (Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Telengana) partook in this prestigious tournament.Mr. AadhavArjuna, General SecretaryTamil Nadu Basketball Association Chennai was the Chief Guest for the inaugural function. Ms. Aashritha Devi Talluri,Managing Director,Sangam Cinemas;Mr. SendhilThyagarajan, Senior Vice PresidentTamil Nadu Basketball Association, Chennai;and Dr. J. P.
