Previously, the Rotary Club of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science has received the Platinum Distinction citation from Rotary International for helping Rotary Connect the world in the lives of people. The Platinum Distinction is the highest category of citation by Rotary International for any Club. Mr. K. Gnanasekaran, AP (SG), Mechanical Engineering, Rotaract Faculty Advisor, has been instrumental in the conduct of all Rotary activities.
