The JK Tyres Intercollege Cup 2019 held at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore between 28 August and 1 September 2019 witnessed Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science acclaim the 2 nd Podium Finish, enduring a tough rally. Hindustan star racers Mr. David Ryan and Mr. Sai Prithvi Sudhakar, pursuing B. Tech. 2 nd year Automobile Engineering exhibited phenomenal racing skills and physical endurance, and bagged the First and Second positions respectively. Actor G. V. Prakash Kumar presided as the Chief Guest for the Podium Ceremony on 1 September 2019 at Kari Motor speedway, Coimbatore. This feat is an evident establishment of students’ passion and exuberance towards Motorsports and Racing. The department of Automobile Engineering has expressed their mirth towards the accomplishment and are elated at the support and guidance of the Management.
