School Of Architecture - Educational Tour 2019
School of Architecture arranged an Educational Tour to visit northern regions of India for 3rd year students so as to familiarize them to prominent architecture and heritage structures. Between 12 and 28 June 2019, students travelled across Ahmedabad, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Manali, Chandigarh, and New Delhi to visit IIM and CEPTcampus; and observe historic places such as,Gandhi Ashram, Ahmedabad, Jumma Masjid, Adalaj stepwell, ‘City Palace’ at Jodhpur, Mehrangarh fort, Umaid Bhavan, Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort,Jantar Mantar, Taj Mahal, Bulad Darwaza, Rohtang Pass, Capitol Complex, Chandigarh, and Qutub Minar. As an outcome of this study tour, students got great opportunity to visit and learn thearchitectural places of interest;perceive and relate the details from the witnessed architectural buildings to their course.
