The Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a guest lecture on the Opportunities for Engineers in Indian PSU’s on 10 October 2022 at the Aero Seminar Hall, HITS. The resource person was Mr. Chidambram Subramaniam, Senior Scientist, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), West Bengal. He lecture was informative and interactive with case studies on the problems encountered in the oil and gas plants and rigs. He also briefed on placements available in PSU’s.
Dr. D. Balaji, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering delivered the welcome address. The felicitation address was delivered by Dr. P. Vijayaban, Head-Mechanical Engineering. The lecture was attended by the students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The event concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. M.Rajesh.
