The Office of Student Affairs and the School of Physical Education and Sports Science organised “Run for the Republic” on 26 January 2022. The Runflagged off by the Vice Chancellor, Dr. S. N. Sridhara began and ended at Jubilee blockcovering MGR Hall, Senate House, Edison Block, Main Block, Building Sciences, PG Block, Founder's Block, Girls Hostel, Galaxy Hostel, and Jupiter Hostel. Head-Student Affairs led the run, comprising a total of 50 students and 25 staff members, and exhorted the students to defend the republic which we got after a long struggle. Dr. B. Selvamuthukrishnan, Head, School of Physical Education and Sports Science proposed the vote of thanks.
