Vinadi Vina, a quiz competition was jointly organized by AACE India Section and HITS Civil Engineering Department and AACE –HITS Student Chapter on 4 September 2021. Dr. G. Ilavazhagan, Director – OIA, HITS welcomed the audience, said that the event is a milestone in AACE – HITS collaboration after the MoU sign-up was done between AACE International and HITS. He greeted Mr. Sivakumar, AACE President; Mr. Sankar S., Director, Reg 8, AACE; Mr. Ramapriya VP –Technical, AACE India, Mr. Sridhar, Reg. Director, South, AACE India; HITS dignitaries, Ms. Pragatha, Dy. Reg.; Ms. Kanpur Rani, Asst. Prof., EEE; Office Bearers of AACE-HITS Students Chapter; faculty and students to the quiz.

The Quiz Masters were introduced to the audience.

Mr. Ramapriya VP –Technical, AACE India with over 20 years of experience in Greenfield Projects and Brownfield Projects.
Mr. J. Samuel, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Civil Engg. with over 16 yrs. of experience in infrastructure development and EPC consultancy, specializing in structural engineering.

Mr. Samuel J. along and Ms. Shalini R. N., Assistant Professor, Dept. of Civil briefed the instructions and rules and regulations of scoring to students. There were 2 rounds with 10 and 13 questions respectively. Students in 20 Teams from Civil Engg., IT, MBA, B. Com., etc., participated enthusiastically. Results were announced by Mr. Sridhar, Regional Director – South, AACE India. Considering the fact that it was the beginner level of Quiz, all teams were qualified to the next level giving the participants ample knowledge on the testing and evaluation pattern. Dr. Preethi V., HoD, Civil Engg. proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Sridhar, Reg. Director – South, AACE India also proposed the Vote of thanks on behalf of AACE India. He thanked the Management, VC, Pro-VC, organizing committee, and quiz masters towards the successful conduct of the event.
