The IBM Gurukool 2018, a 3-day conference was organized between 17th and 19th July 2018 by IBM in partnership with Smart Transformations, Delhi. The participants pan India received industry exposure, practical insights to real life projects, implementation of techniques and developing creativity & innovation. Mr. Amitabh Satyam, Chairman, Smart and Digital, Former IBM Global Leader, Telecom Consulting; and Mr. Neeraj Gupta, Global Risk and Compliance Leader, IBM were the Chief Guests.
Panel discussion on “Internet of Things”, “Cyber Security”, “Blockchain Technology”, and “Job vs Entrepreneurship”; an ice breaking session on “Project” focusing on real life problems and identifying solutions; Seminar on “Augmented/Virtual reality”; and demo interview session by Mr. Suresh, CEO-Smart Transformations were the components of the conference. An industrial visit to Concentrix Daksh Service India Private Limited, Gurgaon was the highlight of the visit. Participants had a great opportunity to see a real time SOC (Security Operation Centre), and experience actual proceedings of the centre, and use of SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) within the premise.
