HITS BBA TTM STUDENTS STUDY TOUR
1st and 2nd year students of BBA Tourism and Travel Management of School of Management, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science are participating in an experiential study tour. They are visiting world heritage sites which explains the Mughal Dynasty ie: Babar, Humayun, Akbar, Salim- Jahangir, Shah Jahan, Aurangazeb. The study tour began with visiting world heritage sites like Taj Mahal, Agra Fort in Agra followed by Fatehpur Sikri which is in Sikri, Amber Fort, JAL Mahal, City Palace in Jaipur. At each place tour guides were resorted to to give the entire history behind each place. The students understood the historical connection between each kingdom and the relationship between Rajputs and Mughals and the entire Golden Triangle Route. At JAL Mahal the students experienced the Camel ride around the Mahal. The students then visited Red Fort, Humayun's toomb, Rajghat,Rashtrapathy Bhawan, India Gate and next to Amritsar. At Amritsar the students experienced the worship at Golden Temple and had their lunch provided by them. The students witnessed wagha Border Procession : an Indo-Pakistan Border where Parades happen every day with hoisting of respective countries flag in the morning and closing session in the evening. At particular time of the day the gates open and people of both sides commute for their purposes. The Jallian Wallah Bagh aroused the patriotism in students when they saw the Martyr well and bullet shot walls and paintings representing the incident. The entire tour was a power packed learning session where students learnt the cultural heritage of India and its improper management which led the British to take over our country and establish East India Company and how our freedom fighters lost their lives to get back freedom and the establishment of the Democratic Country.
