The Office of Student Affairs of HITS organised a Freshers Welcome Meet named Vibrance'21 for the first year students of SLAAS, SOM, SPADE, SOl& SAHS on 15 December 2021; and Fiesta'21 for the first year students of E&T on 16 December 2021. Head - Student Affairs welcomed the gathering. Dr.SheebaChander, Dean, SPADE; Dr.Nagendra Sharma, Dean, SOL; Dr. David T Easow, Head, SLAAS; Dr. M.K. BadriNaryanan, Head, SOM and Dr. Ramesh, Head, SAHS felicitated. Ms. ZainabMillwala Master, Co-founder, Mahela Power and an alumuna of HITS (1998-2002, B.Tech, Computer Science) was the Chief Guest of Vibrance'21. Recalling her golden days at the HITS, Ms. Zainab said, "Hindustan gave everything and made me what I am today. The discipline and liberty which my teachers provided me helped to conquer peaks in life. The newcomers must enjoy their campus life, utilize it well and become successful". In a similar event, Fiesta'21, Dr. Angelina Geetha, Dean, E& T, and Dr. Ramesh Babu, Head-S&H offered felicitations. Mr. B. Royson, Cultural Co-ordinator and Mr. Santosh, Music Co-ordinator coordinated the events. Ms. Priyadarshini, Cultural Secretary of the Hindustan Student Council proposed the vote of thanks. More than 2.5 hours of gala cultural eventsfrom classical dance to rock music to karate demonstration enchanted the audience.
