Congratulations to Mr. Prakash Navdeep, a first year B.Tech., Aerospace Engineering student for winning the Runner Up title in the prestigious Indian Space Science Olympiad!
Indian Space Science Olympiad (ISSO) is a nationwide initiative to find budding space scientists for students who are residing in India. Indian Space Science Olympiad was conducted in two parts. After registration, candidates were provided specific date and time to attend first exam which was conducted through webinar (Online – Students attended exam from home or school through webcam). From the first online exam candidates were selected for the final online exam and online workshop. The final exam, conducted in December 2021, comprised of a 3-day Online Space Science Workshop and an online exam comprising a paper presentation. Students got a lifetime experience while interacting with great Space Science Scientists and subject experts. Based on the Online exam and Paper Presentation, Top 3 students from each category received Newtonian Parabolic Mirror Telescope as prize. The result of the competition was announced on 17 January 2022.
Mr. Prakash Navdeep walked away with the Newtonian Parabolic Mirror Telescope and the Runner Up title. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science wishes him many more success!
