Global India Education Forum recognizes HITS as Outstanding University/HEI for Skill Development at EAIE 2018, Geneva, Switzerland
The HITS delegation led by the Pro-Chancellor – Dr.Anand Jacob Verghese, participated in the EAIE Conference and Expo 2018 held from 11th to 14th September 2018 in Pal Expo, Geneva, Switzerland. The event had around 6000 participants and 600 Exhibitors from various universities across the world.
On 13th September 2018, the Global India Education Forum was held in Hotel Starling, Geneva. An awards ceremony was held to felicitate the champions in Indian Higher Education Scenario for their contribution towards internationalization.
In the awards ceremony Dr.AnandVerghese, Prochancellor was conferred with the Award of “Inspirational Icon for Internationalisation of Indian Education “.
HITS was conferred with the Award “Outstanding Higher Educational Institution for Skill Development.
Dr.G.Ilavazhagan, Director Research, and Dr.M.K.Badrinarayanan, Professor, School of Management, received the awards in the event on behalf of the Pro-Chancellor and HITS.
It marked yet another memorable occasion in the history of HITS in its pursuit towards imparting education to students across the globe.
