MBA (97-99) REUNION: The 20th Year Class Reunion of MBA (97-99) was celebrated on 9 August 2019. Around 30 Alumni across the globe participated with great enthusiasm. They were delighted to meet their professors Dr. Pon Ramalingam, Registrar & Dr. Raja, who gave the keynote speeches. Dr. Pon Ramalingam was overwhelmed with joy in welcoming former students to their alma mater. He expressed his contentment on seeing the heights attained by the alumni. He insisted that alumni should spend their time and treasure with the current students pursuing studies in various branches and aid them to attain a wholesome learning experience by involving in trainings and internships. Mr. Biju Mathew compeered the event. Mr. Jaleel KS gave the welcome speech and thanked the management of HITS for making their student life memorable inculcating both learning and life skills. Mr. Madhupal in his vote of thanks appealed everyone for their time and efforts to make it to the reunion. The reunion ended with Hi-Tea at Garage Cafe's Executive Dining Hall.

SANGAMAM 25: The 6th Batch Alumni – HCE (90-94) Silver Jubilee Reunion, Sangamam 25 held on 27 July 2019 was a grand success inviting over 100 alumni across the globe. Mr. Deena, (Mechanical) Business Process Analyst, Haliburton Man. Corp., Singapore gave the welcome speech. He was instrumental in the making of “Journey to Sangamam25” video which was appreciated by everyone. Mr. Geoji (Mechanical) Country Head, Private Concern, Qatar & Mr. Shyam Sundar (Civil), VP, Bank of America compeered the event. Dr. Aby Sam & Dr. Ashok G. Verghese, Directors, HITS, delivered the keynote addresses. speeches. Dr. Aby Sam expressed his proud feelings on Hindustan’s alumni and also said that this reunion was much like a family get together. Dr. Ashok G. Verghese elaborated the Hindustan Alumni Association activities, and said the Hindustan East Asia Alumni Reunion Chapter was going to be inaugurated in Singapore on 14 September 2019 and invited the alumni to East Asia for tits inauguration. Dr. Pon Ramalingam, Registrar, HITS and Dr. E. Bhaskaran, President, HITSAA graced the occasion. Professors Dr. Chandrasekhar, Dr. R K Solomon, Mr. L N Ramamoorthy, and Dr. Jalaja shared memories of their yester years. Mr. Ratnakumar (BE-Civil), Manager, Data Analytics, USA, and Mr. Susheel Balabhaskaran (Mech), CEO, Visteon Corp., Germany, fondly remembered the growth of HITS in manifolds. Mr. Kalyan M., Pi Datacenter, contributed 1.5 Lakhs to HITSAA for organizing more events in the upcoming years. A cake cutting ceremony marking the 90th birthday of Mr. L N Ramamoorthy completed the reunion. FIRST BATCH OF MBA (94-96) REUNION: The first Batch of MBA (94-96) had a wonderful reunion on 20 July 2019. Around 26 Alumni made it to the event to meet their friends and Professors. Ms. Jessy Mathew, Director, Al Watania, Kuwait & Ms. Sujatha Ramkumar, MD, Lonestar OFST, Chennai Coordinated with HITSAA for all the arrangements. The welcome speech given by Mr. Salin Thapasi, Assistant Director, Agriculture Department, Trivandrum saw expressions of his joy and respect towards his Alma mater. Registrar, Dean, HoD & Faculty of SoM were honoured with Bouquets & mementoes by Alumni. The much awaited Keynote address was delivered by their Professor, Dr. Pon Ramalingam, Registrar. Dr. Pon Ramalingam was very happy to meet the first batch of MBA of HCE and said that the first batch was very special and close to his heart and HITS. He cherished the old memories of his students during their college days; and also conveyed Chancellor mam’s blessings and wishes to the alumni. Ms. Jessy presented a Power point slides showing the MBA alumni, their achievements, their throwbacks (pics) etc. in a 15-minute video presentation. Dr. John Philipose, Orthodontist, Asst. Professor, Venderbilt University, Tennese, USA, gave thought provoking mantras for success to MBA students, and asked them to be fearless and take challenges and to be innovative. Mr. Ravi Shankar, (ECE-94 & MBA-96) Specialist Master, (Advisor US Govt. on Cyber Security) fondly remembered our Founder Dr. KCG Verghese for his generosity and friendliness with students and shared his good old memories of college days and said their College was unmatchable with any other institute. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr. Shibu Varghese, Head-Treasury, National Bank of Kuwait, Kuwait delivered the vote of thanks and assured to come back for their silver jubilee Reunion in 2021 with lots of planning and contributions.
