Orientation Program-2022-23

An Orientation Program for the international students was held on 1 February 2023 at the Bay Range Campus. Dr. G. Ilavazhagan, Advisor (IA) delivered the welcome address. Around 55 international students from various countries and academic disciplines attended the program. The special address was delivered by Dr. S. N. Sridhara, Vice Chancellor. Along with the students, the following staff members attended:

During the program, the international students presented the salient features of their home country and also their experiences in HITS. Dr. Adeyeye Samuel, Officer-IA, provided a brief overview of Chennai from the standpoint of a foreign national, as well as his positive feelings towards HITS. Mrs. Beena James, Head (i/c), Student Affairs, briefed the students about the academics and life at HITS campus. Finally, the HITS dance team performed for the international students. The event closed with the closing remarks by Ms. Sukhee Lee, Advisor—IA, followed by refreshments for the students.
