Social responsibility is a virtue! Mr. Gnanesh D, II-year student of B. A. Economics, School of Liberal Arts and Applied Sciences won the 6th prize in Chennai Coastal Clean Up Awareness 6 KM Run. The event was held on 17th September 2022. There were around 8000 runners in the race. The event was an initiative by the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India, as a part of the International Coastal Clean Up Day 2022 - to generate public awareness about the importance of Coastal Cleanup.
