HITS has renewed a decade-long relationship with HTC Global Services on 18 August 2023 for collaborative activities which involve joint research, joint projects, joint internships, facility sharing, industrial visits, sharing expertise, and outreach activities. The MoU was signed by Mr. Ashok Verghese, Pro Chancellor - HITS, and Mr. Bhaskar Rao, Director - HTC Global Services. HITS and HTC Global Services collaboratively has offered a six-month Professional Diploma Programs on Cyber Security and Laws, Business Intelligence, Cyber Security Management and Industry Integrated BCA Program Specialization in Cyber Security for imparting industry skills to the final year students.
The programs enable aspirants to acquire industry skills at HTC Global Services. This collaboration will train a total of 500 aspirants from Government, Industry and Institutions. The alumni of the collaborated programs include Dr. Sylendra Babu, DGP (Retd); Tamilnadu; Mr Sathish, General Manager, Reserve Bank of India; Ms Amritha, Information Security Manager, AES Corp; Mr. Vishwanathan, General Manager, Information Security, Rane Holdings Ltd.; Mr. U.P. Prakasham, Director, Nubula Solutions and Ex-President, Cyber Society of India; Mr. Thirukumaran, Advocate, Madras High Court; and Ms. Vidhya Shree, Editor, Dinamalar.
