The programme was organized by the Student Council under the guidance of Student Affairs with the objective of promoting emotional well-being, increasing awareness about mental health, and breaking the stigma associated with mental health concerns among students.
The event began with the warm reception of the Chief Guest, Ms. Kirthika P, Counselling Psychologist, followed by a soulful prayer led by Rev. Justin Jose, Student Chaplain, which set a calm and reflective tone for the programme. The introduction of the Chief Guest highlighted her professional expertise and contributions in the field of mental health, creating enthusiasm and interest among the participants. A formal welcome address was then delivered, marking the official commencement of the event.
The key highlight of the programme was the interactive session conducted by Ms. Kirthika P, during which she engaged actively with students on topics related to mental health awareness, self-care practices, emotional resilience, and the importance of seeking help without hesitation. The session encouraged open dialogue, allowing students to express their thoughts, ask questions, and gain practical insights into maintaining mental well-being.
As a gesture of appreciation, a memento was presented to the Chief Guest by the Student Chaplain, acknowledging her valuable contribution to the programme. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the speakers, organizers, and participants for their active involvement and support.
