Success is a measure of an individual’s accomplishment and achievement. HITS classifies this aspect of the students through their diversified attributes. The Institution takes pride in celebrating the success stories of its students who get placed in multinational organizations, chooses career in defense services, opts for higher studies, prefers family business, or turns out to be an entrepreneur. In order to honour these achievers, SUCCESS DAY is celebrated. The Success Day ’23 of Batch 2023 was celebrated on 15 May 2023. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Mr. Thomas Wittek, Managing Director, R. STAHL (P) LTD. Alongside the Chief Guest, the event was graced by Dr. S. N. Sridhara, Vice Chancellor; Dr. R. W. Alexander Jesudasan, Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muthukumar Subramanian, Registrar; Dr. K. S. Shaji, Dean – Student Affairs and Mrs. Kavitha Vijayaraghavan, Head Placements and Training.
Mr. Thomas Wittek, began his keynote address by congratulating the students and wishing them for their future endeavors. Mr. Wittek elaborated on the various opportunities in German companies. He also emphasized on the multiple opportunities in various sectors and encouraged the students to hone and polish their skills. Dr. S. N. Sridhara in his presidential address motivated the students to nurture their talents and abilities which alone will assure them success. He also encouraged the students to face hardships head-on as it will make them stronger in a long run.
All the students took an oath to create a better society and lead by example, thus making their alma mater proud. The oath was followed by the distribution of “Certificates of Recognition” to students who have done the best projects.
The event commenced with the welcome address by Dr. K. S. Shaji, Dean – Student Affairs. She congratulated all the students for their commendable achievement and conveyed her best wishes to the soon-to-be graduates. The event was concluded by a vote of thanks by the Head-Placement & Training, Mrs. Kavitha Vijayaraghavan.
