Ms. P. Mrudhalani, Final year, BBA compered the event.
Dr. A. Prabaharan, Head - Student Affairs while chairing the session said that the civil service is the backbone of our national development. Without which our country may not have progressed this far. He admired the contributions of civil servants in making our nation a progressive and modernized one. We inherited a nation with so many social evils and challenges that are reduced drastically in the last 75 years.
Ms. Nandita Gupta said "Civil Service is both challenging and full of opportunities. Seriousness is necessary while dealing with the public whereas non seriousness is required with the threats. It is common that the civil servants are threatened by anybody and everybody. If we start taking those threats seriously it is very difficult to survive. Media is after us every day. We need extreme patience to deal with questions posed by the public and media. We are answerable to everybody because the public looks upon us as the solution provider”.
Ms. T. Jahnavi, Final year, B.Tech. CSE proposed vote of thanks.
