About the Program

B.Sc Gaming Design is a 3-year undergraduate program that focuses on the design and art of animations and games. The course involves the fundamentals of game development including strategy, creativity, and implementation. B.Sc Gaming Design also deals with advanced technical skills and code languages. Aspirants also encounter a variety of tools and processes like level and map editors, databases, proprietary scripting languages, and design documents. With the evolution of the Gaming industry, the demand for efficient game designers and game developers is increasing rapidly in the market. B.Sc. Gaming Design provides a medium to acquire relevant skills and knowledge. Aspirants get to learn the basics of game and animation programs, 3-D modeling, storytelling, 3D modeling and animation, storyboarding, and graphic design skills.

The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the Computer Applications are listed below:

  • PEO 1: To prepare graduates to be successful professionals in industry, government, academia, research, entrepreneurial pursuit and consulting firms

  • Computer knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, computer Fundamentals to IT applications.
  • Design/Development of solutions: Design solutions for IT applications using latest technologies and develop and implement the solutions using various latest languages.
  • Modern tool usage: Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex IT applications with an understanding of the limitations.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc Gaming Design vary from college to college. A candidate needs to meet the conditions laid down by the institute before applying for the course.
