About the Programme

B.Sc. Computer Science (Gaming Design) is a three-year UGC recognized undergraduate Programme offered by the Department of Computer Applications. This Programme focuses on the design, art of animations and games to provide opportunities to the students in the field of gaming. The students can acquire advanced skill development in game design, game art and animations and develop the ability to create gaming applications from scratch.

The programme offers a well-designed curriculum with a core course in the computer science field and the specific gaming courses like Game Theory and Development, 2D Game Design, Elements of Design, Interactive Graphics and Games, 3D Animation, AR Game Development etc, This Programme is mainly intended to trains students to become professionals in the gaming industry and equip them with creative and technical skills in various domains of animation, gaming and multimedia.

Programme Structure:

  • 6 semesters (3 years)
  • Credit based
  • Electives to be chosen in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th semesters
  • Mini Project in 5th semester
  • Internship and Project work in 6th semester

Eligibility Criteria:

A pass in 12th Standard with Computer Science or Mathematics or Statistics or Business Mathematics courses.
