M.Sc. - User Experience Design

The student after completing the course will be able to map personality, customer journey, user interface, empathy and create wire framing, prototyping, methodology, task flow, and visual design for form and identify testing techniques and conduct survey for user inference.

User experience design is the process of enhancing user satisfaction by improving the usability, ease of use, and pleasure provided in the interaction between the user and the product. User experience design encompasses traditional human–computer interaction (HCI) design, and extends it by addressing all aspects of a product or service as perceived by users.

M.Sc UXD degree provides you adequate knowledge in :

• HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), UX Design, Interaction Design, etc.
• The ability to clearly (and confidently) make design recommendations and convince project stakeholders/customers that they truly are the right decision.
• The ability to convey information simply, using visuals and simple labels to explain potentially complex concepts.

Eligibility for Admission

• Bachelor’s Degree in Art & Science with necessary skill sets.
• The candidate has to fulfill all the prescribed admission requirements / norms of the Institute.

• The ability to create prototypes from your designs
• Familiarity with the mobile space, including specific design requirements, limitations of screen sizes, touch-based capabilities, bandwidth concerns, etc.
• An understanding of the SaaS (Software as a Service) model, including techniques for making applications scalable and re-brandable for individual customers
• To actually be able to design final visuals as well as wireframes with Visio for outlines
