To promote global academic partnerships, Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Chancellor of Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science, recently led a high-level delegation to South Korea. The visit included prestigious institutions such as Dongguk University, Korea Aerospace University, Global Cyber University and Kyung Hee University, to strengthen educational exchange and research collaboration.
An outstanding moment of the trip was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Global Cyber University, paving the way for innovative joint initiatives and shared resources.
I. Mr. Koushik Gautham Hariharan (CSE AI & DS) and Mr. Uthkarsh Srinivasan (CSE AI & ML) are currently participating in a semester exchange program with SIT Japan.
II. Aswin Veer S, Sharon Robin, and Yogeshwaran GS of MBA Business Analytics are currently studying at Rabat Business School in Morocco as part of their semester exchange program.
III. Our BBA Aviation and B. Des Fashion students are embarking on an incredible semester exchange program with Sejong University in South Korea.
IV. Hemant Nimje (B. Arch) is broadening his architectural knowledge and cultural experiences through his participation in the semester exchange program with Politecnico di Milano in Italy.
Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Sponsored the Nobel Forum, which is part of the 30th International Conference on the Physics of Semi Conductors (ICPS - 2010), that was held from July 25th - 30th, 2010, COEX, Seoul, Korea. Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Pro Chancellor, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, attended the event and honored the Nobel Prize Winners.

Our University signed MoU with Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe University for Joint Research Activities and Students and Faculty Exchange Programs.

Our University signed MoU with Dongguk University for Joint Research Activities and Students, Faculty and Research Scholars Exchange Programs.
The FICCI – EPSI organized for the following visits in San Francisco for a select delegation from NAFSA India Pavilion. The aim of the visits was to provide an exposure to the various initiatives taken up at the Silicon Valley to promote entrepreneurship and understand how the stakeholders in the eco-system work with each other.

MBA Aviation Management Students are participating in the 3 weeks Summer Program from July 9 – 30, 2017 at Alamo Colleges San Antonio, USA the Sister-city of Chennai. The focus of the training is on Airline Operation and Management, International Aviation Law, Airport Management, Air Traffic Control, and Management of Human Factors in Aviation. The delivery of the program is held at Philips College, Palo Alto College and Stinson Airport at San Antonio, USA. Apart from regular classes, the aviation immersion program includes field visits to companies, institutions in avionics and visit to NASA. The program is challenging the students and enhancing their creativity, innovation and advancing their skills.
Cyber Week is an annual cybersecurity conference held at Tel Aviv University in Israel, with Cyber Week 2017 running from June 25th to June 29th, 2017. It offers a unique gathering of cyber security experts which brings together industry leaders, start ups, investors, academics, diplomats, and other government officials. Deriving a thought-provoking exchange of knowledge, methods, and ideas, it is a leading international conference in cybersecurity. Events run for an entire week and include round tables, panels, workshops, forums, BSides, competitions, and more. The participants to attend, having hosted over 5,000 attendees from more than 50 countries every year. The conference is hosted by the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center (ICRC), The Yuval Ne'eman Workshop for Science, Technology and Security, Tel Aviv University, the Israeli National Cyber Directorate under the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
His Excellency, Mr Lee Joon Gyu, Ambassador of Republic of Korea, visited Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science on 3rd October 2013. The day also marked the 40 years of Indian Korean Diplomatic ties. Other distinguished guests were Ms. Ji-hyun Park, Counsellor, Embassy of the Republic of Korea to India, Mr. Chang-ho Sohn, First Secretary, Embassy of the Republic of Korea to India, Mr. Jung Taek LIM, Deputy Consul General, Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chennai, and Mr. In-kook Kim, Consul, Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chennai.
Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science’s past tie ups with Korean Universities include - Dongguk University (since 2010) Korean Aerospace University (since 2011) and Jeonju, Woosuk, Busan and Hansei University 2013 and the latest being with Kotra.
Two batches of students from Dongguk University successfully completed the English, Indian History & Culture, and Business Studies EIBIS 4 months certificate course.
This academic year the third batch of students from Dongguk University enrolled in the EIBIS.
