Vahanaa '23 Auto Expo

The 10th edition of Vahanaa ’23, an Inter-College Technical Symposium on “Future Mobility” was held on 31 March 2023. The symposium was lined-up with events such as paper and poster presentations, automotive conclave, and technical quiz. The objective of the symposium was to propagate the recent technological developments in Automotive Industry. The event also hosted exciting Bike Stunt, Cultural Pro Shows and the most entertaining Auto Show of Premium Cars and Super Bikes. The Auto Expo and Project Expo were opened for visitors and public. Parallelly, paper presentation, poster presentation and Technical Quiz were also conducted. In addition to this, a thrilling stunt show was performed by the KTM Stunt Team who enthralled the crowd with their nerve-wrecking performance.

The valedictory ceremony was held on 31 March 2023. Prof. Dr. M. Jaikumar, Head Department of Automobile Engineering welcomed the Chief Guests, Dr. A. S. Ramadhas, Director, GARC, Chennai and Mr. Dheepan Ramalingam, Managing Director, Ringfeder Power Transmission India Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. The felicitation address was delivered by Dr. S. N. Sridhara, Vice Chancellor. Dr. A. S. Ramadhas in his presentation briefed on the facilities at GARC's. He also discussed the role of educational institutions in preparing students for careers in industry. During the valedictory ceremony, awards and mementos were presented to the winners of technical. An appreciation certificate was presented to the exhibitors and collaborators for their part in making the event a grand success through their constant support. Finally, Dr. T. Shanmuganathan proposed the vote of thanks. The Auto Expo exhibitors participated in a rally run within the premises of the Bay Range Campus. On the evening of the final day, the organizers had arranged for a DJ performance by DJ RAPH and team.
